Improving access to justice for victims of abuse

We have actively been involved in improving access to justice by widening the gateway criteria for victims of abuse to secure legal aid. We are actively working with government during Covid-19 to better provide for victims of abuse left even more vulnerable during lockdown. We are holding the government to account to provide a better justice system which is accessible to all. 

We work closely with the APPG on Legal Aid to influence policy at a government level and ensure that the government is aware and alert to the challenges faced within the justice system.
