Susan Fitzgerald
Director Family Law
Susan Fitzgerald is a specialist family practitioner who undertakes care cases, adoption and child abduction cases. She has particular expertise in child care cases and has been a member of the Children Panel since 1998. She is an able advocate who represents children, parents and other family members in care and other proceedings brought by the Local Authority.
An accredited specialist in child abduction Susan has considerable experience in acting for parents in international child abduction cases. She also acts in adoption matters and other complex cases between parents involving their children.
Specialist accreditations: Member of the SRA Children Panel and Resolution, Accredited Specialist in the areas of Child Abduction, Private Children Law and Domestic Abuse.

Amy Woolfenden
Solicitor
Amy Woolfenden is a solicitor who specialises in child care law. She became an accredited member of the Law Society’s children panel in 2014 and represents children, parents and other family members in predominately care proceedings. Amy also has extensive experience in special guardianship orders, discharge or revocation of public law orders, domestic abuse matters and private children issues such disputes over where a child should live or who a child should spend time with.
Amy is committed to representing vulnerable clients whether they are a child, parent or other party who requires a passionate solicitor dealing with this area of law.

Robert Hush
Consultant – Lawyer
Robert is an experienced family lawyer, helping private clients through divorce and separation and dealing with related issues concerning children and finances and advising on inheritance claims. He is chair of the Family Law Committee of the Law Society of England and Wales and is Vice President of the South London Law Society. Robert is a Senior Lecturer at London South Bank University where he teaches family law and property equity and trusts at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Matthew Howgate

Matthew has been providing expert compliance, strategy and management consultancy since 2008 and is recognized as a leading expert on the legal aid scheme as well as on implementing strategic change and regulatory compliance projects. He also has a significant experience in public sector commissioning, working with local authorities and those bidding for public sector contracts.
Matthew works closely with existing and new law firms and advice agencies on strategic planning and on compliance issues

Jo provides specialist brand and communications advice to law firms, charities and not for profit organisations. She has led major rebrands including major UK charity Victim Support. In addition she focuses on helping organisations recruit, reward and retain their best people through powerful values and employer brands. She provides consultancy and training on how to build a strong, profitable and differentiated brand targeted specifically for law firms.
